Bio: I was born in Marília, a small city of São Paulo State, where I started early my passion for birds and nature. I obtained a degree in Biology at University of São Paulo State, studying both Atlantic forest and Pantanal birds, and also got my Master’s degree in Zoology at the same university working with evolutionary biology of some nocturnal birds. One of my passions is the evolutionary and natural history of the amazing nocturnal potoos and nightjars. Now at TEAM, I'm studying long-term trends in the avian community north of Manaus as a fellow at the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA), where I'm also involved in many research projects at INPA's Birds Collection.
