Santa Barbara, California — The first TEAM and National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) workshop was held on December 12-13, 2002 in Santa Barbara, CA. The workshop was led by Sandy Andelman, PhD (of TEAM's Scientific Oversight Committee) and Eric Fegraus and attended by members of the TEAM staff, including Thomas Lacher, Brian Enquist, Puja Batra, Alvaro Espinel, and Caroline Kuebler. This was the first workshop to look at the results of power analyses that Sandy and Eric have been working on, particularly focused on the vegetation variables.
