Vegetation Workshop, Brazil - TEAM hosted a vegetation workshop at the Rio Doce State Park during May 15-19, 2005. Participants included Samuel Almeida and Maria Aparecida from the Caxiuana TEAM Project; David and Deborah Clark from the Volcán Barva Transect TEAM Project; Iêda Leão do Amaral, Átila Oliveira and Claudio Yukishige Yano from the Manaus TEAM Project; Janaina Batista Dimiz, Marise Horta, Thiago Igor F. Metzkor, Maurício Petrucio, Tereza Cristina Spósito from the Rio Doce TEAM Project; and Jenny Hewson and Caroline Kuebler from the TEAM Initiative staff. The main goals of the workshop were to finalize the TEAM Standardized Vegetation Protocol and to develop collaborative relationships between the researchers.
