The third annual TEAM Network Science Meeting was co-hosted by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute's Center for Tropical Forest Science (CTFS). One of the main objectives of this meeting was to strengthen ties and exchange information and experience with scientists from the Center for Tropical Forest Science, one of the most important tropical forest networks in the world. The meeting brought together ideas about the science, protocols, and data analysis generated by these two networks through a combination of plenary sessions, working groups, and poster sessions.

Participants

In addition to selected individuals from the TEAM and CTFS Network sites, participants included scientists from elsewhere in Latin America, and from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
