WHAT's NEW IN VERSION 3.1

Protocol Document

*The term "Block" is used to refer to a collection of 36 point counts within 1 sq. km. Replaces the term Integrated Monitoring Array.
*Reference to the standard naming formats for audio files.
*The term "Block" and "Data Dictionary" have been added to the glossary
* Figure 1 and 2 in Appendix 2 have been updated. Standard numbers for the points have been added in Figure 2.
*A copy of the standard Field Form has been added as Appendix 3.

Data Entry Forms and Data Dictionaries

*The Date Columns were split up into Year, Month and Day columns to address problems with Excel trying to reformat the dates into the local computer's standard format.
*A Sampling Period column was added. 
*IMA was changed to Block.
*Point and Transect were changed to Block X Coordinate and Block Y Coordinate
*Sampling Unit ID was added.
*ID's for both Analog and Digital Sound Recording were added.
*The Observer Column was broken up into First and Last Name.
*Auditory replace the Voice column.
*Visual and Distance columns were redefined.  The values are described in the Data Dictionary.
*Collection Code was redefined and described in the Data Dictionary.
