A full year of data from the Nouabalé-Ndoki Climate Station now available

August 4, 2011

Established in May-June 2010 near Bomassa village approximately 25 Km Southwest of Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park in Northern Congo, the TEAM climate station has been successfully operational for a full year since June 27th, 2011.  The data for this first year include rainfall, air relative humidity, and temperature.  Solar radiation data are still under improvement as only one pyranometre is installed instead of two as required by the protocol.  We are hoping continual support for the Nouabalé-Ndoki TEAM climate station to maintain this internationally recognized high standard long term monitoring of climate parameters.
