Leandro Valle Ferreira has joined us as TEAM’s Lead Scientist for the Vegetation Protocol for TEAM-Caxiuanã !

Leandro is a biologist from the University of Brasília (1985), Masters degree and Doctorate in Ecology from the National Institute for Amazonian Research (1991 and 2001, respectively). Is currently a researcher at the Emilio Goeldi Museum and Lecturer and Masters Advisor in the Tropical Botany (UFRA/MPEG) and Environmental Science courses (UFPA/MPEG/EMBRAPA). Experience in Landscape Ecology and Aquattic Ecosystems, particulary the following topics: climate-biodiversity interactions, ecology of flooded areas, floristic and forest inventories, recuperation of degraded areas, Management Plans for Protected Areas.
