During our first vegetation census of 2012 sampling period at IMA2 (200masl) we found a new record of a plant species which is a recruit.

This species Ventanea occidentalis (Family: Humiliaceae) is a new record not only for VB TEAM but also for Braulio Carrillo National Park.
