In April 2011 TEAM Network met in Dar es Salaam - Tanzania, to assess the progress of the network and plan future steps. The group of Manaus had an intense discussion with the managers of TEAM Latin America to strengthen the subnet TEAM-Latin America, with the intention of further integration of Latin American teams, sharing experiences and planning publications together. Despite being part of the same continent, the specific policies of each country make the research work quite distinctive, and this approach of groups from different countries will allow us to share skills and ideas for improving the work of the network and allow data analysis/discussion on regional-continental scale.
