In the first publication the Volcán Barva camera trap data were used as one of the tropical sites for a  a study about the distributions along the elevational gradients and their possible specialization and vulnerability of global warming.

In the second publications TEAM ants data were used in a study about richness, composition and density on a neotropical elevational gradient.
