Unusual Events at the TEAM Site: 

No news

New Species: 

Two photographs of dhole (Cuon alpinus) were captured in two locations in Camera Trap Array 1, six years after this species was first captured in 2010 survey. 

Protocol Activities: 

Terrestrial Vertebrate Protocol:

Camera Trap Array 1 has been completed between April and May 2016 and photos are being identified. Camera Trap Array 2 has been deployed in mid-June and will be picked up in July. Camera Trap Array 3 will be deployed in August and picked up in September.

Vegetation protocol:

Vegetation survey will be conducted in August and September 2016.          

Climate protocol:

No activities regarding climate protocol in this quarter.          

Protocol Problems: 

Terrestrial Vertebrate Protocol:

Camera Trap Array 1 and 2 cannot be deployed completely due to some camera traps were not functional. The teams were able to deployed camera traps in 26 locations in Array 1 and 22 locations in Array 2. The rest 12 locations will be deployed in additional Camera Trap Array 3 Survey in August 2016. 

Vegetation Protocol:

No protocol problems.

Climate Protocol:

Damaged climate sensors have not been replaced yet.

Schedule Problems: 

An additional Camera Trap Array 3 Survey in 12 remaining locations will be conducted in August 2016 to complete the survey.

Logistical Problems: 

No news.
