Unusual Events at the TEAM Site:

This quarter seems to be the wettest period for the past four years I have been at ITFC. I have never seen hail as big........size of a medium sized pineapple. Three people were struck by lightening in one week. very heavy rains!!! I am keen to find out the actual quantities once I retrieve the data from the climate station.

Vegetation monitoring:

No vegetation work was done in this quarter.

Climate station:

Data for July and August has been uploaded onto the TEAM portal. September data is yet to be uploaded

Camera traps:

Camera trapping for both arrays was successfully implemented. Images were processed and DVDs posted to Eric.

Protocol Problems:

One of the temperature/humidity sensors at the climate station seems to be faulty, recording very false tempeerature readings e.g. -39 degrees celcius. This error was reported to the technical director, who advised that I should endavour checking the connections during my next visit at the climate station.
