Communications activities: 


Unusual Events at the TEAM Site: 

Bush dogs of the species Speothos venaticus were camera trapped in array two at CSNR. This species was only once captured by camera trapping in Suriname.

New Species: 


Protocol Activities: 

Vegetation protocol:

·         A fourth plot (3P) was set up and all stakes were placed and tagged

·         509 stems were measured and in plot 1P, where also the X,Y coordinates of each new stem located and tagged

·         445 stems measured in plot 2P, the X,Y coordinates of each new stem located and tagged

·         359 stems tagged and measured in plot 3P, and the X, Y coordinates of each stem were also located.

·         547 stems were measured in plot 5P, the X, Y coordinates of each new stem located and tagged

·         All data (1 ha plot coordinates, metadata and stem data) were entered into Excel spreadsheets and uploaded into the TEAM web portal

·         Flowers and fruits of several plant species were photographed for identification purposes, and to improve the identification level of the species in the plots

Terrestrial vertebrates:

More than 15 000 picture were taken by camera traps. At least one species that is rarely camera trapped was also captured.
