Communications activities: 

The annual Pasoh Open Day was conducted on 23-26 November 2015 which included a 3-day camp for children between the ages of 9-12 years old. Participants were from local schools in the state and the camp was jointly organised with the state forestry department. Activities included learning about animals prints and how to measure and count trees. The activity objectives summaried their learning experience in relation to forest ecosystems and the importance of its conservation. Materials such as pictures and information from the TEAM project was used as reference.

Protocol Activities: 

Vegetaion and vertebrate protocol activities for 2015 were completed.

 

Climate data was collected every month. However, there was a problem with the computer and datalogger connection which resulted in the lost of data from September 23 until early January 2016 when the problem was resolved. Maintenance of the equipment was conducted.

The laptop dedicated to retrieve information from the datalogger was re-formated. When the PC200W software was re-installed, we encountered problems establishing connection with the datalogger, partly because the cable was not detected by the re-formated laptop.

Communication was established with TEAM technical team in December 2015 when we could not resolve the problem. Unfortunately data from 23 September 2015 was accidentally deleted in the process of resolving the issue.
